The Lamb of God, The Bread of Life, The Body and the Blood of Christ... these are phrases we know from the Mass. But do we understand what they mean in the greater and deeper context of Scripture and Church teaching? In this DVD study series, acclaimed author and teacher Dr. Brant Pitre, guides us through Scripture, history, and Church teaching to illuminate the wonder and miracle of the Eucharist. We'll discover firsthand how Christ's Body and Blood are an integral and wondrous part of God's plan for our salvation.

Reading for Lent?
We have the following selections for your devotional reading during the Lenten season:

Lent with Pope Benedict XVI - Meditations for Every Day
In short reflections - one for each of the forty days of Lent and the octave of Easter - we are reminded that only Christ can fill the deepest longings of our heart. Throughout our Lenten journey, Pope Emeritus Benedict helps us drink deeply from the well of Scripture in order to lead us to an encounter with the crucified and risen Christ.

Simplifying the Soul - Lenten Practices to Renew Your Spirit
Award-winning author and Benedictine oblate Paula Huston invites us to declutter our minds, hearts, relationships, and souls in a book of daily Lenten practices woven from the Gospels, the Desert Fathers and Mothers, and the author's own wealth of experience.

Enrich your spiritual life - CDs are available for purchase in the back vestibules.
New selections are put out every 6-8 weeks.
